Just over a month ago, John Carroll left Nichols College to take the head coaching job at Curry. That left the Bison searching for a new coach and they landed on former Holy Cross assistant Shayne Lynch.
Lynch spent the last four seasons as the recruiting and defensive coordinator of the Crusaders. Before his time in Worcester, he worked for four seasons as the head coach and associate athletic director at the Naval Academy Preparatory School.
Prior to his move to Navy Prep, Lynch worked as an assistant coach for a Washington College squad that finished the 2014 season with an 18-2 record and advanced to the NCAA Division 3 final four.
Lynch sat down with New England Lacrosse Journal to talk about the move and his future.
