The 2024 Yale campaign was surrounded by what-ifs. And just about all those what-ifs were related to injuries.
The team's three-headed monster at attack became a one-man wrecking crew before the season started. Matt Brandau set career scoring records at Yale in his final season and led the nation in points per game.
His efforts helped Yale to the Ivy League tournament, but it still felt like the team spent the season fighting with one hand tied behind its back. It ultimately missed the NCAA tournament, and Brandau moved on to the PLL. This year, Yale will look to make up for lost time with its superstars on offense.
