Quinnipiac had a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde season in 2024.
The Bobcats (9-5) won their first seven games, including victories over Brown, Bryant and Marist. The second half of the schedule didn’t work out as well, as they dropped four of their last six before falling to Manhattan in the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament.
The offense was led by an excellent group of now-departed seniors, led by Ryan Donnery, while Mason Oak had a breakout year in goal. Now, the Bobcats face holes on the offense as that loaded senior class is gone. But if they can jell quickly with new personnel, they might still contend in a crowded MAAC that’s up for grabs.
