One of the more underrated coaching moves this summer was Bryce Richmond's as the new head coach at Brewster Academy. Richmond, formerly the head coach at Tilton, had a reputation for building his former program up from almost ground zero the last few years.
Now he joins another team in the Lakes Region that is on the cusp of breaking through the duopoly of Holderness and New Hampton.
In this interview, we break down the ins and outs of his move and why it happened.
How did the switch to Brewster happen?
Richmond: After coaching at Tilton for the last four years, I was looking to grow myself professionally and seeking a change in scenery. In my conversations with the senior administration at Brewster, I knew it was the right fit. Being able to work in admissions, live in Wolfeboro, and continue to build upon a rich tradition of lacrosse at Brewster as the associate head coach was a dream come true.
