As usual, the gathering of talent in the upper echelon of New England West 1 is something to behold.
One of the nation’s top lacrosse leagues may have gotten even bigger and stronger from top to bottom this season. But among the coaches around New England canvassed this winter, there appears to be little debate about who are the top two prep programs in all of the region.
Depending on which way you go, it’s either Brunswick or Salisbury — last year’s co-champions.
Both teams are perennial top-10 programs ranked nationally, and both will get their schedule off with a bang. Salisbury will begin its season in Florida at the Boombah Sports Complex in Orlando, where among other teams they’ll face perennial national power IMG Academy.
