Lakes Region champs Brewster Academy “played the game the right way”

It was during one of the first team meetings of the season when Brewster Academy head coach Jason Ouellet presented a simple, yet powerful question to his players in the room.

“Okay,” Ouellet said. “What do you guys want our identity to be?”

They could have answered by spiraling into any sort of tangent. Rather, the Bobcats responded by recording their best campaign in recent years, capturing the Lakes Region title by defeating a vaunted New Hampton program, 15-8, back on May 18.
