Boston College knocks off Princeton to reach third straight Final Four

NEWTON, Mass. – Back on April 28, Boston College head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein succinctly summed up her combination of frustration and high expectations after a 15-13 loss to North Carolina in the ACC title game.

“Season’s not over,” she said at the time.

Three weeks later, Walker-Weinstein declaration remains prophetic as the Eagles head to their third straight Division 1 semifinal following Saturday’s 17-12 win over Princeton in the NCAA quarterfinal. BC is now 21-1, having already knocked off Colorado in the national tournament.
