Boston Cannons tab BU star James Burr for future success

The Boston University men’s lacrosse team was on its way back to the city from a game at Colgate when several of the players were doing what most college students would be doing during a long bus ride — fixating on their phones.

That is, until a few of them saw something that caused them to turn to senior midfielder James Burr (Hamilton, Mass.) at roughly the same time.

“A couple of my buddies were on their phones checking out Twitter,” Burr said, “when my name popped up that I had just gotten drafted by the Cannons. It was pretty cool to see.”
