Yet another standout junior from Brunswick School has made his college commitment, as FOGO Blake Burchill made his pledge to Bucknell.
Burchill becomes the fifth Bruins player from his class to make a recent Division 1 college commitment.
Over the summer, we saw Burchill play at the Naptown Showcase in Annapolis for Eclipse, as that program won the top-level title for the 2021 class. Burchill, a Westport, Conn. native, was dominant on faceoffs, and no doubt caught the eye of college coaches everywhere with that performance.
He is in a unique situation, though, at Brunswick, as Burchill will be behind senior Koby Ginder, who is committed to Princeton. Brunswick coach David Bruce does expect Burchill to start in the midfield.
