From defensive prowess to overtime heroics, this weekend saw seven top performances from local women’s college lacrosse players. Take a look at some standouts from the Division I, II and III levels from around New England:

Katie Bourque | Dartmouth, senior, attack/midfield

Dartmouth continued on its winning ways with a 16-8 victory over Boston University on Saturday afternoon, and Bourque was a major reason why.

The senior scored five goals and added two assists for seven points. Her first tally of the game put the Big Green up 3-0, while her second opened up a two-goal lead once the Terriers’ late first-half comeback brought them within a goal. Her final three goals occurred in a second half where Dartmouth outscored BU, 8-3.
