Over the next two weeks, and in the upcoming issue of New England Lacrosse Journal, we will preview every Division 1 men’s and women’s team in New England, by conference, and unveil, team by team, our preseason top 10.
Today's post focuses on the region's teams from the Big East (Providence) and MAAC (Quinnipiac). Providence graduated a good deal of offensive firepower and a top-tier goalie, but will work in a promising recruiting class.
Quinnipiac made strides last year before COVID halted its season after seven games and, with its top six scorers back, looks to keep trending up.
Here is a look at the region’s two teams in those conferences.
