BEST OF THE YEAR: The top professional stories from 2020

To say 2020 was a year in lacrosse like no other would be a monumental understatement.

The year was defined not by achievements and championships, but of waiting and cancellations. Not by the thrill of victory, but the agony of lost games and practices.

The biggest stories were different in New England this year, but still worth covering. As we count down the final days of the year and look ahead to better things in 2021, we will also count down the top five ones from each of the levels of lacrosse we cover at laxjournal.com and New England Lacrosse Journal.
