The common colloquialism that someone is “built different” is often shared when an athlete achieves a level of success that can’t be explained by conventional means.
While the individual and team achievements she's produced are indeed remarkable, the totality of Boston College women’s lacrosse attacker Charlotte North’s accomplishments is preposterous.
This season, North has accumulated 94 goals and 177 draw controls in 19 games. That’s a stat line that you’ll hear a lot about when the Eagles (16-3) take on the No. 1 team in the nation, North Carolina (20-0), on Friday (noon) in the NCAA Division 1 semifinals in Towson, Md.
