Stripped of the opportunity to follow up a 96-goal sophomore season and the opportunity to avenge back-to-back losses in a state championship game, All-American midfielder Tess Gagliano doesn’t dwell on time lost.
Instead, she is holding on tight to any and all opportunities that may now come, not taking a second for granted as she gears up to make one last run to get Barrington High School back to the promised land before departing for Duke.
“I’m not always promised a season. Now, if I have a chance to play my senior season, I’m going to make it the best that I can," she said.
