The Catamounts are the state of Vermont’s only Division 1 men’s lacrosse team.
As such, they fulfill a very important role among the greater northern states of New England.
Due to their successes, they are the de facto team for most lacrosse fans that live above the ever-divisive line that is the Massachusetts border.
What head coach Chris Feifs has accomplished in the past two seasons alone is remarkable. The team has won two America East titles and made two NCAA tournament appearances.
