The list of Division 2 All-Americans was recently released and there are a number of New England natives and players from the Northeast-10 on the list.
The D-2 landscape is always changing -- there are new teams every year -- but in the Northeast, the power structure has been pretty solidified as of late.
Saint Anselm has risen to the top of the heap in the region. The Hawks won 10 games last campaign, a solid follow-up to their best season ever in 2021 when they made it to the NCAA tournament.
The Hawks are followed in the NE-10 by regional mainstay Bentley, with Southern New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce, Assumption, St. Michael’s and then AIC -- usually finishing in the standings in that order.
