After leading the Independent School League in scoring, and leading Tabor Academy to a second-place finish in the regular season, senior midfielder Aidan O’Neil was honored with the Ned Herter Award this week as the ISL’s Player of the Year.
O’Neil, a Richmond commit, took the top honor after a season that saw him score a league-best 77 goals and produce a league-high 113 points. The Seawolves went 15-3 overall, losing to Thayer in the quarterfinal round of the ISL championship tournament.
He was also one of three players named US Lacrosse All-Americans. with Noble and Greenough senior attack Chad Palumbo and Belmont Hill senior defender Tom Goguen.
