USA Lacrosse last week released its list of All-American selections. This post will look at the girls recognized from Maine, central Mass., western Mass., New Hampshire and Vermont.
All-Americans are players who exhibit superior skills and technique and possess exceptional game sense and knowledge. An All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, sportsmanship on the field, and high standards of academic achievement in the classroom.
Additionally, some regions have recognized a Jackie Pitts Award winner, which annually recognizes one player from each area who goes “above and beyond” in service to her team, school and community.
Here is a look at the players selected from those states/regions. Players are listed with class year, position and school.
