Villanova struck again recently with what may be a developing pipeline to the New Hampshire Tomahawks club program.
Over the summer, the Wildcats were able to flip class of 2020 players Michael Tracanna and Matt Licata from their previous commitments to Holy Cross and Utah, respectively.
It did not take long for Villanova coach Mike Corrado and Co. to hit gold with another player from the Tomahawks, as defenseman Aidan Ahearn of Bishop Guertin (N.H.) put his name on the 2021 list in early September.
Although the Tomahawks had a terrific summer and have alumni dotting many parts of the Division 1 men's landscape, there was a little bit of a nudge from Tracanna and Licata to get Ahearn to join them at the next level. Not much, but word traveled fast that Villanova was worth the visit.
