ACC preview: BC ready to turn the page in a loaded league

The last time there was a full lacrosse season, Boston College and seniors Kenzie Kent (Norwell, Mass.), Sam Apuzzo and Dempsey Arsenault (New Hampton, N.H.) reached their third straight NCAA championship game, losing to Maryland, 12-10, in Baltimore.

Predictably, there would be some growing pains for the Eagles in 2020. There would be losses to UMass, No. 13 Southern Cal and No. 2 Notre Dame, and then the biggest loss of all when the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.

So what to expect from BC this spring? Just about everyone is back from last spring, including several key grad students. And the ACC looks to be as formidable as ever, with seven of its eight teams ranked in the IWLCA preseason coaches poll.
