WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- It was a star-studded Sunday afternoon at the "A Shot For Life" All-Star game. Several of the best high school and prep school players from all around the state gathered for lacrosse and a good cause.
A Shot For Life, a high school sports-based non-profit organization that funds health and cancer research initiatives, hosted its annual lacrosse match. Two teams, Blue and White, faced off against one another in front of friends and family.
In the end, the White team took down the Blue, 16-8. Going full-speed and full-throttle, both sides played their hearts out for a good cause.
And the game started with a bang.
