As the World Championships continue to play out in San Diego, players from New England have represented the region well.

The Easton, Conn., native, who played at Avon Old Farms, led all scorers in a 19-3 quarterfinal rout of Israel, tallying four goals and an assist, and has been one of the top shooters in the tournament.
The Haudenosaunee, who as they say are always the home team, have performed well. With a statement win over a very promising team from Japan that exploded through group play, the team’s skill and physical dominance were on display as they reached the semifinals, losing 12-7 to Canada.
Kyle Jackson, who became associate head coach at Avon Old Farms this year, has scored 11 points on seven goals and four assists as part of the top midfield line.
