GREENWICH, Conn. -- Over the weekend the Great 8 tournament took place on the campus of the Brunswick Lower School.
Originally conceived as an event for eight of the top club teams in the country, the event has evolved into a multi-team, single-tiered tournament for the rising classes of student-athletes.
But the first star of the event might actually be the location.
I’ve been to many prep schools in New England, and in other parts of the country, and while all of those campuses have their own identity, charm and character, I have to say that this school -- primarily for middle school students -- is the most visually stunning and functionally designed that I have ever seen.
