While Saturday had a jam-packed schedule of college lacrosse games, there was also a watchful eye on the 2019 Major League Lacrosse Draft.
Held at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C., 13 players either born in New England or playing here were selected. There’s no guarantee that all suit up in the nine-team league, though these seniors have each worked up quite the resume.
Players who weren't drafted could also land with MLL teams, as the Supplementary Draft is set for later this spring.
Leading the way was a trio from Yale, which comes as no surprise after the Bulldogs won the 2018 national tournament.
