While no team from the region made it to the Division 2 or Division 3 championship games, New England will be well represented by several individuals on Sunday in East Hartford, Conn.
In the first of two national championship games, Mercy will take on Tampa for the D-2 championship at 2 p.m.
That game will be followed by D-3 dark horse Union squaring off against the juggernaut that is RIT at 5 p.m.
Union, in particular, has a large number of New England talent on its roster, but there are other players from the region that are key to their team’s success as well.
