Belmont Hill’s Tim Sullivan is known in lacrosse circles as a no-nonsense coach. A big part of that has rubbed off on his team, which has a similar reputation in and out of the Independent School League.
Belmont Hill players are aggressively disciplined to play as a unit. Toughness is prized, but so is game IQ.
That’s not to say that other teams in the ISL — or the rest of the region — fail to instill those values, but being a Hiller is less of a concept and more of a reinforced regimen.
