We’re all familiar with the trials and travails of the transition from winter to spring. It’s in the blood of New Englanders to be resistant to sudden weather changes.
However, a shockingly powerful snow squall ripped across the Boston area Saturday in a way that is seldom seen by anyone in the northern hemisphere (except for Canada).
In the third quarter of Boston University’s 13-8 victory over Bryant, a wall of white hit the field, effectively snow-blinding everyone in a flash freeze of snow. The players, coaches, fans and referees were more frozen in their actions than their actual temperature, though it was confusing and impactful enough to stop the contest due to a lack of visibility.
That BU victory turned out to be the upset of the weekend in the region, though it will be known as the "snow game" for any fan that was watching or attending it in person.
