Head coach Bill Ball took over at Loomis Chaffee last year after a successful run as the coach at Friends School in Baltimore. With that background, he’s no stranger to being in ultra-competitive lacrosse leagues.
At Loomis, the schedule every year features showdowns with some of the top teams not just in New England, but the nation. With a year under his belt, Ball and his talented team are looking to make waves.
With fall ball rules, Ball is unable to coach the team now, but he says that hasn’t stopped the group from developing.
“It’s been great,” he said. “In my second year now, the guys are used to the uptick and changes we made. It’s been great for the team to get out and work in small groups. And it’s also great to see the older guys take it on themselves to have captains’ practices and connect with the younger guys.”
