As the Independent School League continues to grow stronger, so does St. Sebastian’s, who have used their past experiences and an overall sense of calm to put themselves in the driver’s seat to capture a second title in three seasons.
In the midst of one of the more competitive seasons of league play – which says a ton – the Arrows have survived the onslaught of high-level opponents to run their record to 15-0. They have just three games remaining on the docket: Saturday against Brooks, then next week against Thayer Academy and Roxbury Latin. Objectively, all three are certainly winnable.
“Gauntlet is a good way to describe it,” said head coach Adam White. “This year has been tighter than in years past, which I think is awesome for the league. You can see a lot of the teams catching up to the teams that have been traditionally at the top.
