The game of the year in the Independent School League lived up to its billing on Friday. In a battle between the league’s two unbeatens it was Belmont Hill going on the road and outlasting St. Sebastian’s, 14-12.
But in a key ISL weekend, that wasn’t the only meaningful result. Far from it.
With only two or three games remaining on teams’ regular-season schedules, the shape of the standings is coming into clearer view. Only nine days remain until the championship tournament quarterfinals are held.
