While watching the likes of Justin Guterding and Mac O’Keefe, it’s easy to forget the lacrosse stars who don’t play in Division 1. That doesn’t mean they should be ignored.
In the NESCAC, one of the most competitive leagues in all of lacrosse, Wesleyan had a historic 2017 campaign. As they prepare to open the 2018 season, the Cardinals bring back possibly the scariest offensive unit in the nation.
That group is led by Harry Stanton, who led all of lacrosse (along with Andrew Kew of Tampa in D2) with 86 goals last season. He, or the Cardinals, are not about to rest on his laurels from the year previous.
