For the first time in six years, it will be an All-NESCAC national championship game in Division 3 women’s lacrosse.
Between two teams that know each other oh, so well.
Three weeks after Tufts upset Middlebury in the NESCAC final, the two teams will reprise their act for the NCAA title after both won national semifinals handily on Saturday in Salem, Va.
Second-ranked Middlebury made short work of No. 4 Gettysburg, 18-5. Third-ranked Tufts followed that up with an 18-7 win over No. 7 The College of New Jersey.
