LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- One of the most impressive performances from a New England team at the Lake Placid Scholastic Tournament took place on Tuesday night.
That's when a stacked 3D New England 2023 team took the field against Long Island power Mount Sinai and played a near-perfect game, winning 10-2.
The hero of the game was netminder Trevor Fox, who made nearly 20 saves. The offense controlled the first half, and the defense kept the game out of reach. That victory put 3D New England into the 2023 championship game. Unfortunately, it could not keep up with a free-scoring Fellowship of Christian Athletes team comprised of that group’s best players from across the country.
