Colorado isn’t a traditional lacrosse hotbed, but with the success and popularity of the Denver Outlaws, Colorado Mammoth and the University of Denver, there is interest and a strong talent base percolating. One of those emerging talents is Sacred Heart junior Max Tuttle. He’s been playing for almost as long as he can remember and he’s had the added benefit of another Division 1 lacrosse player helping him out along the way. The work he’s put in has paid off, as Tuttle was on the Tewaaraton Trophy watch list and finished third in the nation in goals per game (3.07). He set a single-season program record with 64 points (46 goals, 18 assists) and was named an honorable mention All-America by two different outlets.
