A former first-round draft pick in Major League Lacrosse, Luke Duprey (Concord, N.H.) hopes 2018 is one of his best years of lacrosse. It might be tough to beat winning NCAA national championships with Duke in both 2013 and 2014, but Duprey has been under the radar since then. Injuries and other priorities caused the defender to play in only eight games with the New York Lizards since graduating from Duke. He hopes new scenery — he was selected in the first round of the 2018 MLL supplemental draft by the Chesapeake Bayhawks — and a new commitment to the league gets him back on the field. He also takes over as the head coach of the boys lacrosse team at Phillips Academy Andover, his alma mater.
