After picking up lacrosse late in life, Max Adler flourished as a faceoff specialist at Bentley University. He was a two-time USILA All-America selection, three-time All-New England selection and two-time All-Northeast-10 first-team selection. In his senior season, Adler finished fourth in Division 2 in faceoff winning percentage (67.9 percent) and third in ground balls per game (9.54). His success helped him become the fourth player from Bentley drafted by Major League Lacrosse when he was selected by the Denver Outlaws in the seventh round of the 2017 MLL Collegiate Draft. In three games this summer, Adler won 55.4 percent of his faceoffs and scored one goal.
