SMITHFIELD, R.I. --- It was a great day for lacrosse at Bryant University.
The crisp fall air on Halloween Weekend made for perfect lacrosse weather at the PrimeTime Fall Classic showcase, where age groups from '36s to '27s competed at multiple venues across two days. On Sunday, the '27s, '28s and '29s all played at Bryant. So that's where I spent my day watching the action.
As is the case with most one-day tournaments, I unfortunately couldn't see every team that competed on Sunday. I decided to focus on the '27s and '28s after watching the '29s and '30s at Laxtoberfest last weekend. For the '28s, I saw the Maine Mussels, NH Tomahawks Gold, 2Way North, Clams Blue, HGR Green, 495 Lacrosse and Houlagens.
I already highlighted 10 standout offensive '28s from the event. In this story, I'll focus on defenders/goalies.
Let's dive in.
