Let the commitments begin.
Girls lacrosse prospects in the class of 2028 have been eligible to commit to Division 1 programs since Sept. 1, but a new date pushed back the boys window after Labor Day weekend to Sept. 9.
Anticipation has only built since then for New England's top prospects. I don't anticipate many players will pledge to schools on Sept. 9 --- only one area player did so on the girls side --- but I'd expect the next two weeks to be busy on the recruiting wire.
