New England players selected in MLL draft

Several players with New England ties were selected in Friday’s Major League Lacrosse 2012 Collegiate Draft.

Duke’s CJ Costabile (New Fairfield, Conn), fifth overall by Chesapeake

Virginia’s Colin Briggs (Narragansett, R.I.), sixth overall by Denver

Duke’s Robert Rotanz (Westport, Conn.), eighth overall by Ohio

Harvard’s Kevin Vaughan, 14th overall by Denver

UMass’ Anthony Biscardi, 16th overall by Ohio

North Carolina’s Jimmy Dunster (Cos Cob, Conn.), 22nd overall by Chesapeake

Denver’s Alex Demopoulos (Canton, Conn.), 24th overall by Ohio

Hobart’s Bobby Dattilo (Derry, N.H.), 25th overall by Rochester

UMass’ Tom Celentani, 30th overall by Denver
