Dispersal draft for Blazers players scheduled

The National Lacrosse League will hold a dispersal draft of Boston Blazers players on Friday, Sept. 9 at 1 p.m.
Last week the Blazers announced they were temporarily suspending operations as they search for a new home. The franchise was unable to reach an agreement with its home facility, Boston’s TD Garden.
The four-round dispersal draft will feature prominent Blazers players, includeing former league MVP Dan Dawson, Josh Sanderson and Casey Powell.
Philadelphia has the top pick in each round, followed by Edmonton, Colorado, Minnesota, Rochester, Buffalo, Calgary, Washington and Toronto.
