The New England Lacrosse Journal Team Gear Buyer’s Guide:
Teams set themselves apart with their look. It goes beyond uniforms — which will be featured in the September/October issue of New England Lacrosse Journal — to include “team gear,” the custom swag that helps to set a team and its players apart. From unique backpacks and stick bags to sticks, gloves and more — all done in team colors and with team logos — here are the hot looks every player should hope their team will be carrying next season.
BRINE
Custom Amonte 2s: 17 colors to choose from. Minimum order of 25. Contact your local retailer or a rep for pricing. Allow 4-6 weeks delivery for unstrung heads. Allow 6-8 weeks delivery for strung heads.
Encore X & Clutch 2 heads: If you are looking to match your team’s gear to your team’s colors, don’t hesitate to stop by a local retailer and order a Custom Encore X or Clutch 2. Brine has 17 different colors to choose from to help you customize your look.
Triumph & Esquire gloves: Team gloves are one of the top categories year after year to be customized. Take a look at a couple of gloves that Brine did for the Boston Cannons this past year. These gloves, along with King 3s, King Superlights and the all-new Messiah gloves can be customized through Brine next season.
Triumph elbow and arm guards: This is the newest arm guard protection that will be out later this fall. A compression molded arm piece that gets you superior protection while remaining lightweight and flexible. The elbow guard is designed for middies and defensemen, and the arm guard more for attackmen and offensive middies.These arm pads will give you a custom look with a two-zone color scheme. Team Elements Shafts: In 2011-12, Warrior will be introducing Team Elements Shafts that will allow you to customize the colors as well as add your school/team name to the shafts. You can customize three different color zones with 15 different color options, and the program is available on attack, defense and goalie handles. Add your school/team name to the handle for the ultimate team look on the field. The shafts are made from Warrior’s best-selling Kryptolyte 7075 high-end aluminum alloy with an anodized graphic technique that won’t wear off with time. 15 shaft minimum on a custom handle order; can mix any quantity of attack, defense and goalie heads within that minimum order.
