Win gives Blazers a playoff spot

The Boston Blazers can clinch a playoff berth with a win over Philadelphia on Saturday night.
For the Boston Blazers, their playoff scenario is an easy one – beat Philadelphia on Saturday night and they’re in.
Boston (6-8) will play host to Philadelphia (5-8) on Saturday night (7:30 p.m.) at TD Garden.
The final playoff spot in the East will be at stake and is the taking for Boston, which has lost five straight games and hasn’t won since Feb. 19.
A loss to Philadelphia will put the Blazers in a precarious position. Boston would need help to get into the playoffs in that scenario as Philadelphia could clinch the final spot with wins over Boston on Saturday and at home vs. Rochester on Sunday.
Toronto and Buffalo have already wrapped up playoff spots in the East.
The 2011 NLL Playoffs will begin on the weekend of April 29-May 1 and will take place over three consecutive weekends. The 2011 NLL Championship Game will be played on the weekend of May 13-15.
