Daye 2nd in MLL Coach of the Year vote

Boston Cannons coach Bill Daye placed second in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) 2010 Brine Coach of the Year voting.
Long Island coach Jim Mule won the award after leading the Lizards to a 7-5 record and the No. 3 seed for the postseason.
Mule received a total of 43 points and six first-place votes to take home the award. Daye came in second and Denver Outlaws head coach Brian Reese came in third with 25 and 22 points respectively.
Daye led the Cannons to an 8-4 record in 2010 as Boston earned the No. 1 seed for Championship Weekend and will take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Saturday, Aug. 21 at noon in the MLL semifinals.
