High school teams ranked nationally

Three New England high school boys lacrosse teams are ranked in the final Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse High School Power Rankings of 2010.
The Salisbury School (Connecticut) is the top-ranked New England school, coming in at No. 7 overall. Salisbury (13-1) won the New England West championship in 2010.
Deerfield Academy (Massachusetts), the New England West runner-up, is ranked ninth in the poll after a 13-1 season.
Avon Old Farms (Connecticut), which won the Founder’s League championship with a 15-3 record, is ranked 12th overall.
West Islip (N.Y.), winners of the 2010 New York Class A state championship, was the top-ranked team in the poll.
The final Northeast rankings were also released. The Northeast region consists of New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
West Islip was the top-ranked team in the region, with Salisbury School at No. 4, Deerfield at No. 6 and Avon Old Farms at No. 7.
