MLL draft, Challenge game on tap

Major League Lacrosse will host its annual collegiate draft on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Lanman Center at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
Prior to the draft itself the collegiate players invited to attend the event will participate in the 2010 Warrior Major League Lacrosse Challenge at 2:30 p.m. at the Yale Bowl. The exhibition game features a team of elite graduating college seniors playing against the U.S. Men’s National Team.
The full-length exhibition game, played under MLL rules, will be part of Team USA’s preparation for the 2010 World Games in Manchester, England.
The College All-Star team has several New England players on its roster, including Yale’s Nick Tsouris, Fairfield’s Joe Marra, Duke’s Max Quinzani, UMass’ Diego Godoi, UMass’ Jim Connolly, Duke’s Parker McKee and Bryant’s Andrew Hennessey.
Players on Team USA with New England connections include the Cannons’ Kyle Sweeney, Ryan Boyle and Paul Rabil, along with former UMass standout Kevin Leveille.
