NE players help C.W. Post win Div. 2 title

Several New England-area players helped C.W. post defeat LeMoyne, 14-9, for the Division 2 men’s national title on Sunday.
Brad DeSouza (Trumbull, Conn.) had an assist in C.W. Post’s victory, while Matt Riccio (Trumbull, Conn.) started for the Dolphins and had one ground ball in the win and John Wood (Marblehead, Mass.) had a pair of ground balls.
New Englanders on the C.W. Post roster who didn’t see playing time for the Dolphins on Sunday include Nick Watson (Trumbull, Conn.) and Nick Foote (Trumbull, Conn.).
For LeMoyne, Mike Rabbitt (Simsbury, Conn.) started and had a goal and a ground ball, while Jikado Hanna (Hopkinton, Mass.) saw playing time in the loss.
