Trinity women No. 1 in region

The NCAA Division 2 and 3 Women's Lacrosse Committees have released this week's regional rankings. The rankings include the top teams in each region, with records through April 18. The next available ranking will be released Wednesday, April 28.
In the Division 3 New England region, Trinity (10-1, 10-1) is ranked No. 1, followed by Colby (9-2, 10-2), Tufts (8-2, 9-2), Bowdoin (7-3, 8-4), Babson (8-2, 10-3) and Amherst (7-3, 7-4).
In the Division 2 North Region, Stonehill (10-1 overall, 9-1 region) is ranked second, behind No. 1 Adelphi.
Merrimack (8-2, 8-2) is the only other New England team in the top five, coming in at No. 5.
