Deerfield boys ranked No. 1 in nation

Deerfield Academy is the top-ranked team in the latest Under Armour/Inside Lacrosse High School Power Rankings.
Deerfield is currently 6-0 and the only New England team ranked in the Top 10.
The only other New England team ranked in the poll is No. 16 Avon Old Farms.
In the laxpower.com national high school boys computer rankings of teams playing five or more games, Deerfield is No. 11, followed by Avon Old Farms at No. 39.
Other New England teams ranked in the top 100 were Reading, Mass. (No. 50), The Governor’s Academy (No. 54), Billerica, Mass. (No. 56), St. John’s Prep (No. 57), Cohasset, Mass. (No. 58), Medfield, Mass. (No. 67), Malden (Mass.) Catholic (No. 69), Needham, Mass. (No. 79), Boston College High School (No. 83), Hingham, Mass. (No. 93), Winchester, Mass. (No. 95) and Weston, Mass. (No. 100).
